UK: Turkish Healthcare Tourism Development Council joins medical tourism exhibition

The organisers of the forthcoming London based medical tourism exhibition, Destination Health, have signed a tentative agreement with the Turkish Healthcare Tourism Development (THDTC) to bring Turkey’s leading healthcare providers to exhibit at the event.

Housed within the ‘Turkish Healthcare Providers Pavilion’ Turkey will be represented by hospitals, clinics, medical spa and wellness hotels and resorts. Speaking on the most recent show development Nav Mann, “As one of the most popular medical tourism destinations we are delighted the THTDC, the official body promoting healthcare in Turkey, has chosen Destination Health to reach UK medical tourists.”

Supported by Europe’s number one medical tourism website Treatment Abroad and International Medial Tourism Journal, Destination Health will take place on the 17th & 18th April 2010 at the Olympia Exhibition & Conference Centre.

The show is expected to attract people from all walks of life who are actively planning to travel abroad for treatment. In addition, visitors will include health and medical professionals who are looking to establish business partnerships with healthcare providers around the world.

Exhibitors will be promoting a wide range of health and medical services including dental treatments, cosmetic surgery, breast augmentation, IVF and other medical procedures. Exhibitors will also include medical spas, health resorts, insurance companies, travel agencies, intermediaries and medical tour operators.

Visitors to the show will be offered free seminars, presentations and all the help and information they need to make their decision to travel abroad for treatment.
