Coronary bypass surgery is open-heart surgery to improve blood flow by creating a new path to re-route blood and oxygen around a clogged artery or arteries. Healthy arteries and veins from other parts of the body (often a vein from the leg) are attached to the coronary artery above and below the blocked area, allowing blood to bypass the clog or diseased area to reach the heart muscle. If more than one artery is blocked, more bypass grafts are required.
We provide Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery in the following world-class global medical facilities.
