A Dental Veneer is a sleeve of material placed over the surface of an existing tooth to protect the surface of a damaged tooth, or for aesthetics.

• Composite Veneer - A composite veneer can be directly placed in the mouth by building up the composite material on the tooth, or it can be fabricated in advance of placement and bonded to the tooth after fabrication.
• Dental Porcelain Veneer - Dental Porcelain Veneers cannot be directly placed, and must be fabricated before placement in the mouth.
